Hetken aikaa sitten oli sukulaistytön 1-vuotispäivät. Ompelin hänelle lahjaksi puuvillaisen mekon, jonka yläreunassa on säädettävä kuminauha. Mekkoa voi siis kiristää ja löysentää mukavasti tytön kasvaessa. Ideoita tähän mekkoon hain neitistä ja yhdistelemällä ideoita syntyi tämä luomus. Tunti ennen lähtöä juhliin tajusin, ettei meillä ole onnittelukorttia ollenkaan. Siinä sitten äkkiä etsin laatikon kätköistä kivoja papereita ja sain tehtyä mukavan synttärikortin sankarille.

A while ago I was at a birthday party of a 1 year old girl. As a present I sew a dress from cotton for her. It has an elastic band at the top that is adjustable so that when the girl grows the dress grows too. Ideas for the dress I got from the Internet and combining many ideas I made this one. One hour before leaving to the party I realized that I didn't have a birthday card. So I took some papers and pens and quickly made one for the birthday girl.
